You do not need to worry yourself on my account. If I could not handle it, I would have directed him to someone with the time and capacity to. If anything, you have given me the opportunity to use some skills I am out of practice with.

[ He may not have an MD, but he took it upon himself to learn some of the skills of a practicing physician and even had a short stint of volunteering in clinics and hospitals to gain that knowledge. He'd thought it be useful to understand the entire process, from researching and devising treatments and cures to how these cures were administered to people. ]

As well as one can be in these circumstances. Have you had your injuries looked at already? Even minor cuts must be treated properly to avoid the chances of an infection occurring.
