He highlights that he is very keen to learn more about biology, because it matches his powers!! But anything Ratio-sensei wants to do with him would be fine, and he's appreciative... ]

Never even tutored one, for he had been studying far above undergraduate level by the time he was in his first year of high school.

Children are more delicate than adults, so he decides it's worth adopting a softer tone when handling Yuji. ]

I will be able to teach you mathematics and the sciences, but the other subjects require contextual knowledge of your world that I lack. That being said, certain subjects can be taught using this planet as the shared frame of reference, such as economics or geography.

It will take me a few days to prepare some diagnostic tests that will allow me to assess exactly how much you know.

anything is fine, it’s been months since i was actually in school so it’s probably a good idea that something is done, right? grandpa would like me to graduate high school even if i don’t make it to university or whatever. the bare minimum for someone like me!!

I agree with your grandfather. At your level, formal education provides the basic foundation of knowledge you need to navigate the world. Post-secondary education is a pursuit I recommend only to those who have carefully considered both its benefits and challenges. Not all are suited towards the scholarly pursuit, but that is not something to be ashamed of. There are many methods to obtain knowledge, not all of which involve the rigid structure of academia.

Do not apologize. Were I not interested, I would not offer my services. I have chosen to take this task voluntarily.

i've got time for this kind of thing here, but back home there's no way i've got any kind of chance of graduating high school, sorry, that's just sort of how it is
it would be nice to do some work with it here, though, and i'm willing to do what it takes to put my best foot forward or whatever

If you would like to repay me, then teach me something I do not already know. It does not have to be academic in nature. I have accepted magic tricks, grass whistling and skipping stones as payment in the past.

I intend on providing a visual diagram of the circulatory system, as well as exercises involving your ability to improve the association of knowledge. If even that should not work, we will simply use another method. So long as you are willing, you will learn under my tutelage.
