Dr. Ratio
Greetings, I am Veritas Ratio.
Dr. Ratio
Knowledge should flow freely between people, and the same fate should befall truth. You can ask me about technical problems at any moment, and I shall do my utmost to give you a reply.
Dr. Ratio
But before you ask, remember to establish best practices for intense self-rumination, and remember that time is precious for everyone, as for me, so for you.
Dr. Ratio

[ There's a slight hesitation for the next part, but he ultimately decides to be completely transparent about the full extent of his punishment. ]
In addition, they have applied a filter over my vision, preventing me from reading any text.
[ That's why he didn't respond to Bakugo's initial message. ]

What Ratio says makes his blood boil at the same time as ice trails his spine.]
Did they say for how long?
[And no, he's even less pleased to hear the potential repairs will come from his own damn paycheck, if that's the implication.]

October 5th. Three weeks.
[ That's three whole weeks that Ratio will be unable to conduct any research. He can't even read his own writing, because it gets obscured the moment he finishes writing a letter! It's beyond infuriating. ]

[And they still expect Ratio to fight on the front lines! Though it's unlikely a kaiju will show until the middle of next month...]
Everyone else should know about this.

But being unable to do anything else would be agony. No reading, no researching to prepare himself, no stocking up on supplies in his subspace storage... it leaves him feeling unbalanced and vulnerable. ]
Please keep this to yourself. I am not the only one involved, and I doubt any of us would like our current state to be publicly known.
[ Especially not Aventurine. ]

It wasn't your fault.
[Yeah, he saw the entire thing. At least the text-based part. The rest he heard.]
I'm not gonna say anything, but the Outsiders should know LILITH can disable their abilities.

You needn't offer me validation. Whether the fault lies with me or another, the result cannot be changed.
[ Bakugo is right, but the question was how to present this information in a manner that wouldn't implicate his and the other two's current state. Additionally, making such an announcement would further stir up distrust against LILITH... that was something that had to be carefully considered as well. ]
Give me some time. I must consult with the other two to decide if such an announcement should be made at this moment. However, you are free to warn your friends.

Ratio's comment about the eggs wasn't unfounded either. People who couldn't handle hard truths should shut the hell up and bury themselves back in the pillows. Ratio wasn't ordering them to think like he did. He was cautioning them to a very likely reality.]
Some results could. But that'd require a damn coup.
[No offense, Ratio, but in the past month, LILITH has done plenty to stir up distrust, or at least dissatisfaction, against themselves. What the organization has done right now is crossing a boundary Bakugo's very hard on. He begrudgingly agreed to work with LILITH as a hired mercenary. He refuses to be someone's put-upon slave.]
I'll wait until October 5th. But I have something I want to ask everyone as well. Maybe we should combine them.

Given the control they are capable of exerting upon us, starting a coup would not be wise. But that does not mean I am advocating that we simply bear with their offenses forever. We must design a course of action that will bring us the most benefits.
[ He can't blame Bakugo or anyone else for wanting to though. LILITH has committed so many human rights violations that even he is itching to see some retribution paid upon them. But revenge cannot be the driving factor in their actions. If anything is to be done, it must be done rationally. ]
And what would that be?

Working with them is the most beneficial right now. But they didn't say shit about their own damn mistakes in Seoul. They blamed us and fucking encouraged us to shame each other! And now they're pissed cause a fight broke out?
[It's completely illogical and shitty leadership. If Commander Shit-o had showed his face in person, Bakugo would've attacked him. As if was, he and Godzilla actually went to blow up the screen, but got promptly knocked out and caged up. Bastards.]
I want to ask how we're gonna proceed going forward if there are multiple threats. Screw what those bastards want. If they want us to separate, we should refuse. After what happened in Seoul, our best bet is staying together when the kaiju are involved.
[Bakugo doesn't intend to be a dictator, but he is a very effective leader, despite his atrocious attitude.]
Our offenses should focus on killing blows as often as possible. And we need to find a damn way to take the fight to the kaiju. Every fucking time, they attack the city and we know they're going to!
[Flooding the bay to make hunting food easier. Invading Disney to siphon off electricity. Luring out civilians to turn them into aggressive incubators. And... whatever the fuck the dragons were after in Seoul. Each time the kaiju came looking for something. If they can pinpoint it, they should be able to lure the beasts away from the city, or lead a preemptive attack to cut down on all the collateral damage and casualties.]
